Bianca’s still hatin’ on Heather
Bianca, still on her quest to break Heather down from last week, questions Heather about how she feels since Sarah was eliminated. Bianca knows that Heather considered Sarah a friend. As Heather tries to maintain herself, Bianca continues to question her, and then has the nerve to say that Heather will almost certainly have a breakdown.Benny’s back
Benny Ninja returns for the first challenge. The ladies are shuffled off to the Fashion Institute where they meet up with Neal Hamil of Elite North America. They will be paired with designers who will make a dress inspired by who the ladies tell them they are. The base dress they have to work from is a drab blue hue. The designers can do anything they want, but the blue dress has to be a part of the finished product. The ladies speak with the designers about their personalities. Bianca, who is never satisfied, complains that she isn’t feeling her designer. It seems Bianca wants to look like Cleopatra, but her designer is thinking Mediterranean beach. Heather’s designer just looked confused as she tried to convey her thoughts, which basically sounded like gibberish. Lisa’s designer wanted to do an elegant party girl. I was distracted by Benny Ninja’s Charlotte’s Web inspired outfit. I wonder why no designer decided to tackle him instead. I’m sure he would have rocked the blue dress, just as it was. While the designers work on their creations, the ladies head back to the house. Lisa practices her walk. Bianca says it’s her time to shine. She says that she used to look at Heather as a threat, but now she doesn’t. She sure spends a lot of camera time talking about Heather. And note to Bianca: Honey, Heather IS a threat. That’s why you keep bringing it up. Ambreal knows she needs to prove herself, just like last week. She really doesn’t want to go home.
Does this dress look like me?
Next the ladies get to model their new duds. Ann Shoket, Editor & Chief of Seventeen Magazine sits in. The prize is a spread in the magazine. The ladies are told to walk the runway in their new “personality dresses”, and explain who they are to the audience. Bianca is upset because her dress is absolutely hideous. I concur. She looked like an Anime puppet. I wondered if the designer did that on purpose because Bianca was so nasty. Her nasty attitude even overshadowed the ugly dress she was wearing. Heather was so nervous she could barely speak. She lost her voice, and you could hear the crickets. I wanted to pull her offstage myself. Even the audience was uncomfortable. Of course, Bianca was happy, especially when Heather was told her performance wasn’t up to par. Ambreal did a forgettable job. So forgettable I don’t remember it. Jenah was a rock star muse, and did a good job. Lisa got tongue-tied and left the stage in tears. Chantal, the Barbie Doll muse, told Lisa to dust it off and keep going. Saleisha did a good job, and even connected with the audience via a little wink. Because of that, I forgave her for her mullet. Saleisha won the competition and picked Bianca and Lisa to accompany her on the Seventeen shoot. What’s up with that? Bianca? Anyhooooo, before leaving, Saleisha told Heather not to beat herself up. Bianca stuck her two scents in, telling Heather that Tyra always tells them that they need to develop a thick skin.Back at the house, the girls were fighting over everything, especially Heather, who just wanted to take a shower. Why is there a community shower? I mean, damn, can’t they give them some privacy? Anyhow, Heather was upset that she was next for the shower and Bianca went on in. Heather looked evil. I would have let her have it.
Road trip
The ladies get on a bus headed for the desert. Once they hit the dirt, the bus pulls off. Eye candy Jay Manuel (I can dream, can’t I?) tells them that they have to use their frustration at being abandoned in the photo shoot. Most of the ladies do okay, but Heather has a hard time. Jay tells her to do whatever she would do if she were really lost in the desert. That doesn’t help. Lisa can’t get past the heat. Bianca gives a really stressed look, which is exactly what they want.Is she serious?
Back at the house Heather is feeling stressed. She’s minding her own business when Bianca, on the pretense that she cares, asks her what’s wrong. Heather says that she is not happy with her performance this week, and she is upset about the shower. She didn’t appreciate the others going into the shower when it was her turn. The ladies tell her to just get over it. Nice support group.Judging
Twiggy, Tyra, Miss J and Nigel are about to judge the ladies when they are interrupted by a Chinese parade lion. The lion tells Tyra that they are all going to China! Everyone dances and yells, until Tyra says that one girl won’t be going. They could have waited until the eliminated girl left the room! The judging starts, and Jenah gets good reviews. Heather is told that she had her weakest week thus far. Tyra says that you cry in the dressing room but you don’t show it in a photo shoot. Saleisha, without her signature mullet, did a good job. Ambreal is told her face was okay, but she didn’t show the garment. Bianca, who had borrowed clothes from Jenah’s closet, had the angry pose they were looking for. So, who isn’t going to China?Lisa and Ambreal are the last two standing. When Lisa’s name is called, Ambreal hugs Tyra, thanks her for the opportunity and leaves with her dignity in place and her head held high.
