For the seventeenth season of America's Next Top Model Tyra Banks has assembled an all-star cast of previous contestants. Cycle 17 promises to be a classic reality TV show, throwing a few fan favorites into a bubbly cauldron of craziness with hot messes, crazy bitches and other outlandish characters we've loved to hate on previous Top Model seasons.
Representing the broad diversity of the wanna-be-models who have shaved their heads, gotten naked, and faced their fear of heights, snakes and more over the last decade, this season's contestants may have all jumped through the America's Next Top Model hoops before, but for some that was a decade ago, and the ensuing years haven't always been kind. The cast of Cycle 17, hope to prove they still have what it takes to make it in the back-stabbing, fatphobic, ultra-critical, high-stress world of fashion modeling. Who will are the All Star models?
Cycle 1's Shannon Stewart
On Season One this homophobic Christian refused to get nude for a photoshoot but still made it to the finale before losing it all to Adrianne Curry. Stewart went on to became runner up in the Miss Ohio pageant and, according to Wikipedia she is still a devout Christian who "doesn't drink or smoke and stayed a virgin until marrying."
Cycle 2's Camille McDonald
The girl who explained her pigeon-toed gait to designers by claiming, "This is my signature walk, and it's the walk that's going to make me famous." Post-America's Next Top Model, McDonald created her own lingerie line called Lingerwear.
Cycle 4's Brittany Bower
The model who got plastered at a designer's party and made awkward sexual gestures, Bower has stayed in the reality TV limelight, appearing on Battle of the Network Reality Stars and on the television series, Love Inc. She was also hailed as one of Maxim magazine’s Hottest Women of Reality TV list, proving sex still sells.
Cycle 5's Bre Scullark
Best known for freaking out over her missing granola bars, Scullark later appeared in Vibe magazine and in Old Navy commercials.
Cycle 5's Lisa D'Amato
Season Five's resident boozer got eliminated for her percieved arrogance (wackiness may be more appropriate a term) and then went on to star on another reality TV show, Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew. Here's hoping rehab took.
Cycle 9's Bianca Golden
Fans of Project Runway might remember Golden who modeled for Korto on that show's fifth season. Others remember Golden as the chick with a bad weave and a bad attitude. Later Golden got in an infamous fight with Hairspray star Nikki Blonsky in an airport. Reportedly, both girls' parents were involved in the altercation as well.
Cycle 10's Dominique Reighard
The hard-featured Reighard went from Top Model to Modelville, the spin-off reality series that aired on the Tyra Banks Show. On Modelville, five former Top Model contestants competed for a $50,000 spokesperson contract with beauty company Carol's Daughter. Reighard won, but her appearance here suggests that she didn't parlay the opportunity into top model status.
Cycle 11's Isis King
Tyra Banks reportedly liked Top Model's first openly transgendered model so much she paid for King's gender reassignment surgery in 2009
Cycle 11's Sheena Sakai
Top Model's token Asian model went from lying about her breast implants on the show to starring in a Trojan condom ad.
