If the reality show that you are applying for requires that you submit a videotape, it is so important that you stand out on the recording. It is your first chance to wow the producers, letting them know that they’d be plain crazy not to choose you. In their application materials, The Apprentice’s producers suggest -- "take us on a tour of your life and show us what separates you from all of the others." Take their advice no matter what show you are applying to.
