Jesse is not at all worried about being nominated for eviction because April seems to feel the house will side with her and not make him a target over Memphis. She tells him to trust her. Ollie says the same thing. Of course he does. Anything April says, Ollie says. As America’s Player, Dan has been instructed to hug one player for at least 10 seconds, and that player is….JESSE. Dan decides to call Jesse aside and tell him some sob story about missing his girlfriend. Jesse is genuinely concerned for his friend but tells him to stay strong for the game. As Dan looks into the camera over Jesse’s shoulder with a smirk on his face, the timer counts down their 16 second hug. It was actually comical.
CLAWS ARE OUT!!!
In the HOH room, Aprollie, Keesha and Dan talk. Libra and Renny join them. Libra tells them that she’ll do anything to win the POV and keep their alliances intact. April doesn’t give her the encouragement she feels she deserves, and Libra leaves the room feeling hurt. When the rest of the players give Aprollie some time alone, April tells Ollie that Libra is a bitch and has excuses for everything, including why she keeps losing competitions. And yes, Ollie agrees with her.Downstairs, Libra and Keesha are in their room when Jesse starts eavesdropping through, or over, the wall. Libra says that she felt hurt that April didn’t believe that she would try her hardest at the challenge. Keesha says that she is surprised that April has turned on her. Jesse runs upstairs and tells Aprollie that he was awokened (hoping he meant “awakened”) by a screaming Libra. He embellishes his story, going on about Libra and Keesha talking smack about April. Of course April takes his word for law and goes downstairs to confront the girls. Finally, she admits that Jesse was the one to run to her with the rumors. Libra admits to April that her feelings were hurt but she swears she didn’t say anything else other than Jesse shouldn’t be trusted. Keesha, who is slowly losing a grip on both her mind and her impending birthday party, goes into the kitchen and has a fit, hollering about April being a bitch and saying she doesn’t like her anyway. Renny and Michelle try to get Keesha to calm down since it’s her birthday, but she just goes on and on. Keesha goes back into the room and tells April she didn’t appreciate her dismissing her or the way she had addressed her all because that punk Jesse started a whole bunch of mess. While this is going on, Memphis is mocking the girls saying that when a bunch of women under 30 are in one house the cackling will eventually begin. Jerry runs into the room and tells the girls what Memphis said. Jerry also tells Libra to shut up, and this upsets Renny since he seems to be zeroing in on disrespecting the women in the house lately. Back in the kitchen, Keesha is ready for the drama to end so she can eat her birthday cake, but she won’t eat unless Libra and April are present. Jesse goes back into the room with April and Libra and he and Libra blow up at each other. Actually, she curses him out. Back out in the kitchen, everyone assembles to sing Happy Birthday to Keesha. The one-verse song is sad and drawn out, and followed by dead silence until Libra asks if anyone wants cake. As the cake is cut, Jesse takes the opportunity to say he just wants to apologize for being honest when he ran upstairs to April like a little wuss. Libra tells Memphis that everyday is a new day. Jesse tells her they can’t vote him out if he isn’t on the block. Happy Birthday, Keesha! POWER OF VETO COMPETITION Memphis, Jesse and April have to play. The random players are Libra, Jerry and Michelle. Renny will host of SKIPSHOT COMPETITION! Each player basically plays putt-putt trying to get their ball in the center groove, which is the winning slot. Each of the turns will garner a prize, however, and each winner will have the option of keeping their prize, or trading with another player. One prize is the Power of Veto. The triumphant player has the pick of all the prizes or the Power of Veto. Memphis wins 6th place and gets the Veto right out of the gate. Next Michelle is eliminated and wins the 5th place prize: a trip for two to Hawaii. Jesse wins the “slop surprise” and trades it for Memphis’ Power of Veto. April’s 3rd place prize is ten $1K Big Brother gold bars to be used at her discretion. Jerry’s 2nd place prize is a letter from home, but it gets traded for the Power of Veto he takes from Jesse. This is AFTER he asks April to split her $10 three ways. Not sure if she agreed, but she must have because he grabbed the Veto. Also not sure who the third recipient would be. Libra gets a perfect score and wins a leotard to wear around the house for a week. She trades it for Michelle’s Hawaiian vacation, which totally pisses Michelle off. And I would have done the same thing. Michelle cannot believe that a mother of three would take the vacation instead of a letter from home. In fact, she doesn’t refer to her as a mother of three. She calls her a HorseSlutSkank. Memphis uses his slop card to make sure that Jerry eats slop for the next week.
Later on, Michelle is still seething when she puts on the leotard. Jesse assures her she looks cute, but she doesn’t care. She cries that she is always getting the short end of the stick, always has. While she sleeps, or whines, in bed that night, Jesse creeps in and assures her that everything will be okay and she’ll get another chance for a letter from home. He even promises to buy her a trip to Hawaii after the game is over. Uh…what does Jesse do for a living again?
