KEESHA IN CHARGE

Steven is gone and his BFF, Keesha, is now HOH. She says she voted with the majority because she couldn’t chance going against the house, which was a smart move on her part. Angie says she feels like an outsider. Michelle is happy that Keesha is the HOH. She feels that their alliance of eight have moved Brian and Steven out, and that Keesha will be easily influenced. Dan yells in the confessional that he threw the HOH competition so that the others could move forward. Suddenly April thinks Keesha is a sweetheart and Libra seems to be genuinely happy for her. She even tells Keesha she’ll have her back if she keeps her off the block. Keesha comments that it’s amazing who’ll kiss her ass now that she holds that key. While everyone else is sucking up to Keesha, Memphis and Jesse go off to the side and discuss the game. They feel that they are the only two players in the house that Keesha actually trusts. Too bad, because Keesha’s new BFF is Renny.

THE NEW HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD ROOM

Keesha invites everyone to visit the new HOH room. Of course there are pictures of her family, but Keesha is most moved by the pictures of Gizmo, her dog. When Michelle gives Keesha a letter from her parents, the others leave her to read the letter privately. Well, of course Renny stays to support Keesha as she cries reading the letter like she’s in Iraq or something instead of voluntarily separated from her dog trying to win the money. Afterward, Keesha confides to Renny that she trusts only her. Renny tells her not to trust Libra, the backstabber. Keesha is well aware of Libra’s agenda. When Renny leaves, Aprollie and Libra show up and Keesha tells them that she wants Angie out of the house for letting Steven hang. When she tells Memphis her plans, he defends Angie saying she doesn’t have it out for Keesha. Renny and Angie knock on the door, but Keesha asks for five more minutes before letting them in to talk. Angie takes it as a slight, and tells Jesse she knows she’ll be up for eviction and goes to bed. Dan arrives to tell Keesha he’ll over her butt if she’ll cover his. He admits he has no alliances and he promises to keep his word. Keesha believes him. I know she can certainly HEAR him. Then Keesha approaches Libra and tells her that she feels Libra has doubted her loyalty. Libra says she didn’t doubt her, but her alliance with Steven was so obvious. Keesha tells Libra to be careful with her mouth because it’s making her a target.

FOOD COMPETITION

Instead of playing for food or slop this week, the players will be playing for a specific menu. They are divided, guys on one side, girls on the other, dressed in 50’s garb. April wrongly attributes their attire to the 60’s. After matching socks on both sides of the “sock hop” board, they win beef, chicken, pig’s feet, cereal, juice, and beer for the week. Everyone is happy except Renny, who didn’t get the wine that seems to be a staple in her diet. Libra was sure happy about that beer though. Those 12 lbs. she lost? She’ll find them again in a Heineken…Later, Aprollie cuddles and talk about more than we need to know. They both like to read. We can assume that means they both CAN read. Ollie doesn’t trust women, and views his life like a construction worksite, seeing stop signs everywhere. Keesha uses some analogy to make him understand that he needs to slow down and not just stop with his emotions. After that waste of airtime, April visits Keesha and tells her she thinks she should put Memphis up. Jesse tells Keesha that she should put Libra and Dan up, and that Jesse, Memphis, Angie and Dan will have her back. Jesse says that Dan will understand the strategy and still feel safe.

NOMINATION

Keesha makes her decision and calls everyone to the table for their keys into next week. Jesse’s eyes get big when Libra gets a key and he’s still sitting there. In the end, Jesse and Angie are put up for eviction. Keesha explains that she’s still salty about Angie doing Steven wrong, and she tells Jesse that she sees him as a threat. While Dan screams his happiness into the confessional, Keesha admits that it’s Jesse’s arrogance that did him in. Tuesday we’ll see who gets the power of veto, and on Thursday, the new night for evictions, we’ll see who leaves the house.
