Big Brother 10, Episode Seven Recap - - The Power of Veto

From

Jul 31 2008
Air Date: Tuesday, July 29, 2008

Jesse can’t believe that Keesha put him up for eviction. Memphis interviews that Keesha made a mistake by not putting Libra up. He doesn’t know why Keesha thinks that Jesse and Angie are out to get her. Of course, Libra and April tell Keesha that she made good choices. Michelle tells Jesse that she told him not to trust Keesha. Elsewhere in the house, Jerry and Dan relax and talk. Jerry says that Memphis has a big head and that at this stage in his life, Memphis should be more than just a bartender and a womanizer.

…AND THE BEGGING BEGINS…

Jesse visits Keesha to plead his case. He says there are no hard feelings (…yeah, right…) and that he was pressured to put Steve and Dan up for eviction. April and Libra ring the bell, but Keesha has Jesse tell them to wait outside while they finish talking. Jesse takes his opportunity to tell Keesha that Libra was instrumental in Steven being put up for eviction. Keesha believes him and feels bad for putting Jesse’s name out there. When Jesse leaves, April and Libra rush Keesha and say they could see that Jesse was upset. Keesha just plays it off, saying he was trying to plead his case. Downstairs, Jesse tells Michelle that if one of them (Jesse, Michelle or Memphis) can win POV, then Libra is gone. He’s that confident after his talk with Keesha.

POV COMPETITION- The Garden of Veto

The random picks to join Keesha, Jesse, and Angie are Libra, Ollie, and Memphis. Dan will host. They each put on flower gear and lay down in a flowerbed. Once the competition starts, water will drip onto the forehead of each player. If they lift their head, the game is over for them. The player that stays closest to one hour without going over wins the POV. After about 20 min., worms are added to the soil, and Keesha jumps ship, as I would have too. This isn’t Fear Factor. Next, a stinky compost concoction is added. Libra and Ollie decide that she will leave and he shortly after making sure there is no gap for another player. When Libra leaves, Jesse jumps up right behind her leaving Ollie, Memphis, and Angie in the stinky mess. Eventually they all leave, but Keesha wins the POV because the rest all stayed past the one-hour mark.

EVERYONE’S ALL UP IN KEESHA’S FACE

Michelle and Jesse convince Angie to go upstairs and ask Keesha if she will give use the POV on Jesse and put Libra up instead. Keesha says she gave Libra her word that she would stick with her and that’s important to her. Angie drops a few fake tears as she says she can’t take another week in the house with Libra. Next, new BFF April tells Keesha that she doesn’t trust or care for Libra. Ollie approaches and agrees that Libra has made herself a target. Jesse approaches Keesha, AGAIN, and asks her what she’s going to do. She only says that everyone will go with her wishes. Jesse flies off the handle and tells her that he’s stressed and losing weight. He tells her that she can’t trust Libra, whether she gave her word or not, because Libra is making her look like a fool. He desperately asks Keesha what he can do to change her mind, but she reminds him that she gave Libra her word. Back in the confessional, Jesse mocks Keesha as he vents about giving her all the ammunition she needs to get Libra out of the house but won’t use. He goes back into Keesha’s room and flips out in front of Dan, April and Renny. He hollers about Libra being a liar. Keesha asks everyone to leave, and she approaches Libra, telling her that she needs to clear the air in the house. She runs around telling everyone that her word is bond and Libra is not leaving the house this week. Jesse tells Libra that he doesn’t have a problem with her, but everyone else does. She just walks away from him.

Just then, a banner flies overhead telling everyone to go inside the house and close the blinds. Michelle and Memphis decide to lie and say the banner said “Libra is a liar, love Steven”. Of course, Libra and her crew don’t believe it. Memphis tries to defend their lie, saying he did see Libra’s name on the banner. Libra asks Memphis why she is a target. Then Memphis and Jerry argue because Jerry had called Memphis a womanizer. Memphis says it’s amazing how Jerry can call him names, yet he’s married and grabbed April’s boobs that first day in the house. Memphis darn near threatens old Jerry to see what happens if he calls him a womanizer again. Through all of the commotion, no one even noticed that Dan was the only person in the room when Jerry said that Memphis was a womanizer…

POV MEETING

Angie simply says she plans to stay true to herself, as she has so far, and hopes that Keesha makes a rational decision. Jesse stands up for himself, kind of, in a blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, yada sort of way. Not sure what he said or meant. In the end, Keesha decides not to use the power of veto, and on Thursday, either Angie or Jesse will be leaving the house. Angie interviews that she only has a couple of days left to get Jesse to blow his temper again. Smart girl…

Remember, the eviction will be on Thursday!
