Big Brother 10, Episode Nine Recap - - Another Eviction

From

Aug 3 2008
Air Date: July 31, 2008

Angie admits that she and Jesse share an alliance, but in the end it’s a game, and she’s out to win it. Jesse feels safe because Keesha wants Angie out of the house. Michelle cries because she is friends with both Jesse and Angie and has to vote for one of them. Memphis asks Michelle where their alliance went wrong, and Michelle tells him that none of them won the HOH or POV. Yep, that will pretty much do it… Jerry tells Angie that he has nothing against her and that she should play the game til the end. Memphis runs to Keesha and says that Jerry just told Angie that she doesn’t have anything to worry about cause she’s not out of the game. Jesse tells Keesha that the game is taking a toll on him, but she just reassures him that he’s okay. Jerry goes up to Keesha’s room, and she asks him flat out if he told Angie she’s safe, which he denies. Michelle and Jerry argue in the kitchen about something or other and then Jesse gets into the mix with Jerry telling them both to kiss his ass. That Jerry ain’t going out without a fight. Soon afterward, an earthquake shakes the ground, and the housemates all rush outside. For some reason, Jesse takes his shirt off. Jerry didn’t realize it was an earthquake, thinking instead a truck had hit the house. Memphis, who I’m liking less and less, takes a swipe at Jerry and calls him an idiot. For future reference, those of us that have never experienced an earthquake may think the same thing. That’s a whole lotta idiots.

Once Libra goes back inside, she looks through the window, and Jesse mouths “Bye Bye” to her. Talk about making enemies! The ladies discuss Jesse’s arrogance. When Jerry walks by, Jesse calls him Father Time. Aprollie and Libra power walk and decide that Jesse needs to leave the house because he’s getting too full of himself. Ollie says that if they keep Jesse, America will think they are the dumbest cast ever (yep).

JULIE HAS QUESTIONS

First, Julie admits that the banner that flew overhead last week had nothing at all to do with the show. Michelle still defends what she and Memphis “saw”. Julie asks Memphis about his extreme reaction to being called a womanizer, and he says that although Jerry apologized, he was very upset and forgave but will not forget because he respects all women and doesn’t want his reputation tarnished. I guess he doesn’t care if America thinks he’s a hothead that would hit an old man…long as he doesn’t date two women at once. Jerry is asked if he apologized to Michelle, and at first he doesn’t remember their altercation. When reminded by Julie, he says he didn’t apologize because he wasn’t sorry. Then it’s a Happy Birthday wish to Renny, who says the housemates made it special for her with a cake and everything. Awwww!!!

YOU AIN’T GOT TO GO HOME, BUT……you know the rest…

Angie defends her position by saying that only one person will win the game, and in the end, the alliances won’t count. She says they need to get rid of the biggest roadblock. Jesse gives the same old “I came into this house with respect and stood up for myself” speech. Blah Blah Blah. For some reason, that worked. Annoying Jesse is still around for another week, and Angie has been evicted by a unanimous vote. What was that Ollie said about being a part of the dumbest cast ever? Hmm…Afterward, a tearful Angie sits down with Julie, and when Julie asks if she had a thing with or for Brian, Angie clears the air and says that she only wore Brian’s hat around the house to piss folks off. They were not an item, America, and she is aware he has a girlfriend. So, what we gather from that, is that instead of being smart and trying to befriend folks to win the $500K, Angie opted to wear some other woman’s man’s hat. Just to piss people off at the risk of going home broke. I’ve heard it all now. Stay tuned on Sunday to see who Jesse and Libra annoy next.
