The HOH Competition - Big Brother Election
There was a poll on cbs.com where America answered a series of opinion questions about the House Guests as if they were presidential candidates. Like politics isn’t scary enough these days. The hamsters (with the exception of Adam as current HOH he won’t be participating) stand in their individual lanes. Once blindfolded they will be asked a question and must answer by raising their right or left hand which of the House Guests America chose. (They are given two names as options for each question.) For every correct answer they will take a step forward. The House Guest in the lead after seven questions will win HOH.1. Who does America think would be most likely to replace the faces on Mt. Rushmore with only their own face: Josh or Sheila? The answer is Josh so everyone except Sheila and James move forward.
2. 2.Who does America think would be most likely to donate their Big Brother winnings to charity: Sheila or Adam? The answer is Adam and everyone except Sharon and Ryan move forward.
3. Who does America think would be most likely to lock themselves out of the White House: Adam or Sheila? The answer is Adam and everyone except James and Josh move forward.
4. Who does America think would write the more interesting biography: James or Sheila? The answer is James and everyone except Sheila and Sharon move forward.
5. Who would America prefer lead them into battle: Ryan or James? The answer is James and everyone except Sheila and James move forward.
6. Who does America think would give the most inspirational speech? Natalie or Joshuah? The answer is Natalie and everyone but Josh and Ryan move forward.
7. Who does America think would be most likely to stop their motorcade to let a squirrel cross the road: Sharon or Natalie? The answer is Sharon and everyone moves forward except for James, Sheila, and Natalie.
8. With that Natalie wins HOH, much to the delight of Sheila and Ryan. And much to the dismay of Josh and James (who share a knowing look acknowledging the extent of how very screwed they are).
Lessons Learned
1. What did the hamsters take away from this game culled from America’s group think? Josh will be pleased we find him arrogant and probably spent some time thinking about how good Mt Rushmore would look with only his likeness. That’s balanced by how upset he will be at the thought of America finding Natalie more inspirational. That won’t sit well with him.2. Sheila will be tortured with the fact that the country would find James’ life story a more compelling read. Since she came on this show for publicity for her actual biography she’ll probably be worried this will hurt her as she shops for a publisher. And ghostwriter. Can you image being her ghostwriter? At her beck and call to listen as she talks about herself for months at a time, no opportunity to opine, talk back, or smack her? There’s not enough money in the world.
On Sunday we’ll find out who Natalie tosses up on the block. Maybe she can pray for a double elimination? Here’s hoping.
