Jamie began her love-hate relationship with reality television by stumbling across The Real World many years ago. With the Surreal Life, Season 1 she stopped making sarcastic comments at her TV screen and began recapping. She’s covered such shows as America’s Next Top Model, The Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, Extreme Makeover, and even suffered through Married By America - among others. She’s currently recapping Big Brother 9 for Reality Shack and Beauty and the Geek for Reality News Online.

When not watching and writing about the great social experiment that is reality TV she can be found toiling as an anonymous temp in various corporate offices around Chicago, talking to her dogs, and praying that when her children grow up they will make their horrific coming of age mistakes off camera.
