THE …..PRIZE?
The Black team arrives at their kitchen for their meal with Rocco, only to be told they will be helping with the preparation. Afterward, they are glad they did. He helped them prepare peppers over an open fire on the stove (thank God my son was sleep..) and chicken with garlic sauce. There were lentils for protein and something in a bowl that looked really good until he tasted a piece of it and threw the remainder back in. Did they not notice that? After dinner, they got to see videos from home. Maggie and Brittany had messages from their mothers. Bernie’s girlfriend made sure he knows she’s taking care of his dog. Paul got a message from his parents, who then directed the camera over to Kelly’s mother. To Paul’s surprise, and Kelly’s delight, Kelly’s boyfriend was there also. He said he couldn’t wait for her to get home and back in his arms and wake up next to him. Paul started crying, Kelly couldn’t believe Paul would ruin her moment like that, and then Paul admitted it’s hard hearing another man tell his wife he wants to hold her. Kelly reminds Paul she isn’t his wife anymore, and I think they got some kind of closure when they admit they just want the best, healthy life for each other and that is all it will ever be. And Huckabee snuck up in there and took Arkansas and West Virginia.LAST CHANCE WORKOUT
Jillian is taking no prisoners. She stands on Maggie and Brittany as they do push-ups. She yells. She screams. She gets them to sweat like it’s nobody’s business. Bob tells his team he wants double digits. Jillian says that if Bob stays in the gym until 10:p.m., she’s staying until midnight. Remember: Hubris. Alison looks great. It’s amazing what a little conditioner and a flat iron will do. The Blue team weighs in first. Dan: 7 lbs., Jacki-2, Roger-8, Trent-9, Mark-9 and Jay-5. Their total percentage of weight loss is 2.48%. I don’t understand these percentages at all, but I do know that as a green team member, I have lost 100% of four pounds playing along at home, and no one can tell me otherwise. For the Black team Bernie loses 13, dances and tells us he’s bringing sexy back. Brittany-10, Maggie-5, Kelly-7, and Paul-12. Paul has to fork over 3 lbs. because of his gain last week, but it doesn’t matter, the Black team wins, and a Blue team player is going home.Jacki asks Trent if he thinks he can handle working out at home if they vote for him. She feels that he is the most homesick. She asks the other Blue team members if they will vote with her, and they say yes. Trent tells her he would be able to handle the game from home. Privately, he interviews that he doesn’t like losing, and we finally see his competitive streak.
