Jillian thinks they’ll be okay if they step up their intensity. Then Pink lady (Michelle) starts crying before the workout, and Jillian sends everyone else to the gym so she can counsel Michelle. Back in the gym, Bob has his team working hard. They are working on speed. Bob decides the yellow line is a distraction and rips it up. Jillian arrives and notices, but she’s cool with them all being one happy family. She didn’t think he had the guts to do it. This week, Jerry is on the treadmill, but he’s walking at a much slower pace than everyone else. Regardless, he’s still making the effort. Brady says Bob opened up a can of whoop-ass on them.
$10,000 Prize
During a break, Allison asks everyone to meet her in another room. They see a ONE ping pong paddle and wonder what’s up. It’s for bidding. Allison reminds them each of their percentage of weight loss last week. She tells them they are facing the dreaded week two plataeau. The average weight loss that week is 2%. Allison wants to make the week rewarding. One family gets a chance to win $10K. Of course, there is a catch. Everyone gets to bid on the percentage of weight they think they will lose that week. The player that achieves their goal wins the money. If they don’t, they are automatically below the yellow line. Phil (Red Team) bids first at 1%. He thinks he can get someone on Jillian’s team to bid higher and then lose. LT (Gray) and Purple (Shellay) bid next. Red teams takes 1.4%. They go higher and higher with Colleen eventually taking the top bid at 2.4%. The Pink team is shocked that Yellow (Colleen and Jerry) bid that high given Jerry’s limitations. Everyone let them have it.After a shameless Subway plug, Colleen explains to Jillian about the bid for $10K. Jillian is not happy about that. There is not a good chance they will lose 14 pounds. She sweetly, in her best Jillian voice, says she thinks they have lost their minds. She says she is going to beat the crap out of them both physically and emotionally.
