Peer Critiques
Trump allowed both teams to view and criticize each other's ads. Everyone was rather diplomatic about their competitor's ad, using catchphrases like, 'it's different.' But Piers wasn't having any of that. He bluntly stated that Empresario's ad was 'amateurish' and lacked a story or message. He also stated that had Empresario used Omarosa (as the only woman on her team), the only shot that she would have looked good in would have been a 'graveyard picture.'
No Edge, and No Beauty Either
Trump revealed that the executives preferred Hydra's ad. He stated that Empresario's ad lacked an edge, a consistent message and that there was no 'beauty' in it. We're guessing the executives didn't think the female model was all that then. As winning PM, Carol would receive $20,000 for her charity, The Tony Alt Foundation.
Why Didn't You Step Up?
Omarosa immediately went on attack and singled out Tito as the losing PM, but Trump and George seemed to have caught onto her game, questioning why she hadn't stepped up as PM. Tito then revealed that he wasn't blind to her manipulations either, stating that she 'pushed' the PMship onto him. When questioned by Trump as to whether this was true, Omarosa hemmed and hawed, but never really answered the question. She also couldn't answer Trump's question about why she was so reluctant to be PM when that was the only way to win money for her charity.
Other Issues
Unfortunately, Empresario's loss wasn't all Omarosa's doing, and Trump and Co. also zeroed in on Tito and Stephen. They seemed to play 'pass the blame' between them, with Tito stating that Stephen's adamant stance against the shirtless photograph was why it wasn't included in the ad, while Stephen reiterated that Tito was the PM and had ultimate decision making authority.
Fired with a Parting Gift
In the end, it came down to Tito, Stephen and Trace because Tito told Trump that he would 'exonerate' Omarosa based on the fact that she worked the hardest. Trump had asked Trace who he would have fired, and Trace had reluctantly stated that although he 'loved the man to death,' he would have fired Tito. Trump called Trace a 'quiet star' and his opinion was definitely accorded a lot of weight by Trump. Coupled with the fact that Trump had stated at the beginning that the winning PM would likely be fired, and Tito was toast. But Trump hated doing it and offered Tito $50,000 for his charity (St. Jude Children's Research Hospital) as a parting gift, which is pretty cool, considering Carol, as winning PM only got $20,000 for her charity.
