The Trumpiest Trump
The celebrities met up in Trump's apartment in Trump Tower, where Trump brought out the kids (well, most of them). Ivanka, Don, Jr. and little Baron (who's already being programmed, um, we mean, taught all about Daddy and 'business'). Trump then declared that 'some' think his apartment is the 'greatest apartment in the world,' although he would never say that himself (um, you sort of did).
The 'Art' of Sales
This week's task required the teams to work with the Moti Hasson Art Gallery to select an artist and then sell their work. The team that sells the most wins.
Mano a Mano
Knowing that she had very little choice given what transpired in the last Boardroom, Omarosa finally stepped up and became PM for Empresario. Upon learning this, Piers Morgan immediately volunteered to be Hydra's PM, declaring that it was about time he went head-to-head against Omarosa.
Volume and Price
Empresario decided on David Kramer as their artist, basing their decision on the fact that many of his pieces were in the lower price ranges, which would make it easier for them to sell the pieces. Meanwhile, Hydra, upon learning that artist Shirley Shor, created several versions of her art work (in other words, you can buy more than one copy of a certain piece), decided to go with her, thinking that the volume of her art work would help them in overall sales as they could sell the same piece over and over.
Cool Voice Cameo
There has been quite a few cameos from other celebrities on this show, but we must say, hearing Piers Morgan call up chef Gordon Ramsay (from Hell's Kitchen) was pretty darn cool. It was even cooler that Ramsay's famous potty mouth also made an appearance, in the form of affectionately telling Piers to 'Bleep off, you Bleep-head.'
Too Close for Comfort
The set-up at the Moti Hasson Art Gallery literally had the two teams in connecting rooms, which led to some clashes during the preparation for the showing. In particular, Stephen Baldwin and Piers clashed, with Piers accusing Stephen of cheating and spying and Stephen protesting that he merely wanted to go to the bathroom.
Get the Door!
Lennox Lewis was charged with manning the front door of the gallery and directing potential buyers to Hydra's room, but Omarosa was handling the door on behalf of Empresario and it looked like Omarosa had the upper hand on Lennox - at least for a while.
Not Business, but Personal
Piers reiterated numerous times that he wanted to beat Omarosa. Badly. He declared that this task was not business, but 'this is personal.' Both Piers and Omarosa were pushing hard for sales, although it looked like only Piers managed to close any deals.
Poaching!
Thanks to the proximity of the two rooms, there was some 'intermingling' among the various celebrity contacts. Carol Alt, sensing an opening when Stephen Baldwin was otherwise engaged, managed to snag one of his contacts AND convince that contact to buy a piece of art - from her! Nice poaching Carol!
Fantastic Contacts
Piers's contacts didn't show up themselves, but instead sent representatives and more importantly, money. Gordon Ramsay's representative bought a 'fiery' painting which was quite fitting, while another purchaser mentioned that he was the 'long arm of Ioan Gruffudd' - the actor who played 'Mr. Fantastic' in the Fantastic Four movies.
Annihilation!
Thanks in part to Piers's contacts, Hydra won - in what Trump deemed as the 'biggest slaughter in the show's history.' Hydra managed to sell $164,000 in art work, while Empresario managed a humiliating $7,000. No, we didn't forget a zero there. Hydra beat Empresario by an astonishing $157,000. Put it in terms of artwork sold, Hydra managed to sell 14 pieces, while Empresario merely sold 3 paintings.
How Sweet It Is!
Piers was, of course, reveling in the win. When questioned by Trump, he declared that he wanted to make a point - that this was about 'genuine' celebrities and Omarosa simply didn't have the contacts that 'genuine' celebrities would have to call upon in order to get them to shell out the big bucks. Omarosa, surprisingly, didn't really have much of a comeback, merely saying that she was on the show because 'Mr. Trump asked me.'
Two for the Price of One?
Piers boldly asked Trump to 'wipe out' Empresario by firing two people. When Trump asked who those two should be, Piers declared that it should be Omarosa (obviously) and Stephen Baldwin. Trump seemed to consider the idea as he dismissed Hydra from the Boardroom, allowing them to watch the proceedings from the war room, and telling Piers that he had won $51,300 (profits from the sales) for his charity, Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. Piers practically skipped out of the Boardroom in glee, asking Trump to 'make it nasty, could you?'
