Picking up where we left off last week, Omarosa and Carol meet up with the rest of the celebrities after their Boardroom tussle and Omarosa immediately gets into it with Piers Morgan (judge on America's Got Talent). Piers said that Omarosa has turned into a mutant since her appearance on the first season of the show. Omarosa dismissed Piers, saying she can't "talk to an alcoholic." (Piers was sipping a drink when their confrontation went down). Just to up the drama (and fun) quotient, we hope Trump decides to mix up the teams and put these two together.
Random Corporate Plug
Trump was joined by Ivanka and Terry Lundgren, head of Macy's, who will apparently sit in for Donald, Jr. this week. Trump offered no explanation for why a Macy's executive received this 'honor' other than mentioning something about Macy's exceptional marketing abilities. We'll give him that. You can hardly turn on the TV these days without seeing that some show is being sponsored in some way by Macy's.
Pedigree Challenge
This week's relevant corporate plug was from Pedigree, which sponsors a pet adoption drive. The celebrities are tasked with creating a 30 second community awareness commercial to showcase Pedigree's adoption drive.
On-the-Spot Leadership
Told that they must select their new Project Managers immediately, Hydra went with KISS member, Gene Simmons, while Empresario selected Telemundo executive, Nely Galan.
You Can Shove the Existential Crap
Nely has a very unique leadership style, wanting her team to bond through deep breathing exercises, holding hands and focusing their positive energy. Everyone went along with it in the spirit of teamwork, except Omarosa, who declared that she's not 'into that existential bull[bleep].'
Taking Different Approaches - Again
Once again, the two teams take radically different approaches. Gene Simmons made the 'executive decision' not to meet with Pedigree officials at all, going straight to the commercial shoot. Meanwhile, Empresario spent close to an hour with Pedigree officials before they even started to conceptualize their commercial spot.
Is It Because Shes a Woman?
Gene Simmons displayed some misogynistic tendencies during the challenge, and unfortunately those tendencies were directed at none other than Ivanka. When she showed up to check on the men's progress, Gene dismissed her outright, saying 'she'll wait' and commanding the others to ignore her and to keep focusing on their task. When Ivanka got annoyed and left, Gene called her back and asked her if she was going to go talk to the women's team, and 'in sisterhood' tell them what the men were up to, which really infuriated Ivanka.
Not a Ten
Nadia Comaneci, the legendary Olympic gymnast, seemed to be having a bad day, not being able to do anything correctly, at least according to Nely Galan. Nadia did seem flustered at times, but really, we barely noticed her in these episodes as she faded into the background a lot.
God Sounds Like. . .
. . .country singer, Trace Adkins? Hydra selected him to do their voice-over and his voice was rather captivating, leading Gene Simmons to say that 'Trace has the voice of God.'
Jettisoning the Flotsam
Gene Simmons decided that the best thing for Hydra would be to send everyone except Stephen Baldwin, the commercial's director, home so that he and Stephen could work unimpeded. The other men did not take this well, and even tried to stage a mini-mutiny by showing up at the editing offices, only to have Stephen and Gene kick them out again.
Cutting to the Chase
Nely Galans presentation to Trump and the Pedigree executive started off on a shaky note when instead of just showing the commercial, she went on and on about how they had created a 'multimedia' approach, complete with Internet ad and a radio spot. Trump finally had to cut her off, telling her he just wanted to see the commercial. Meanwhile, Gene Simmons simply wanted to show Hydra's commercial, but the Pedigree executive wanted to discuss why Hydra didn't meet with them before shooting their commercial. Gene Simmons quoted something from 'The Art of War' as an explanation, which didn't go over well with either Trump or the Pedigree executive.
