Phil Keoghan is the host of the series. One duo's bickering fuels a much deeper discussion about commitment and the state of their relationship. Two Teams are confident they are ahead of two lagging Teams, but face a harsh reality when they learn they are the ones pulling up the rear. One Team's hard-fought lead is jeopardized when they have a hard time completing a task. Will this delay cost them the Race?
EPISODE 7: Tuesday April 19
"We have a bad elephant!" -- Teams face a challenging roadblock with difficult animals, on THE AMAZING RACE 7, Tuesday, April 19 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Phil Keoghan is the host of the series. On the second part of this extended leg of the race, the Racers have a hard time maneuvering very fickle camels as the animals pull teams into trees, walk backward and even lie down in the middle of the course. Meanwhile, one Team tries for the last Fast Forward of the race, which challenges them to partake in a shocking and emotional traditional Indian ritual. Also, the pressures of the Race take their toll on one team whose solid relationship has a momentary meltdown.
EPISODE 6: Tuesday, April 12
“Mow ‘Em Down Like Grass” -- As the game becomes more intense and every second counts, the teams split off into two separate groups, on THE AMAZING RACE 7 Tuesday, April 12 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The pressures of the Race continue to weigh heavy on one Team when even the simplest of tasks, such as choosing a mode of transportation, causes tempers to flare. Meanwhile, one Team shares an affectionate moment with the locals as they are cheered on by a supportive crowd.
EPISODE 5: Tuesday, April 5
"Houston, We Have an Elephant!" -- Tensions of the Race bring out the worst in some Racers, on THE AMAZING RACE 7, Tuesday, April 5 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Phil Keoghan is the host of the series.
The strain of the Race is taking its toll on the teams, especially one Racer who reacts angrily to an unattractive side of her teammate. One team member hastily chooses to do a Roadblock that involves driving a stick shift through the African bush, when he has only driven a stick once before. Teams drive for miles across the African bush where they encounter giraffes, elephants, zebras and hippos roaming freely, causing trepidation, but great excitement over their experience in wild Africa. p
A special one-hour retrospective episode will be broadcast on Wednesday, April 6 (8:00-9:00PM), which will include never-before-seen footage from this current edition, including an incident that leads to another head injury for a Racer, and two Teams getting friendly and sharing a hotel room together.
