2004 is almost over and its time to say goodbye to some of our favorite reality shows. But don't you fret, reality fans. There are plenty of new shows for us to look forward to in 2005. The following are shows that are in the works -- and we can't wait to see them!
"Being Bobby Brown": Have you ever wondered what its like to be Bobby Brown? I havent either, but the music bad boy plans to star in his own reality show anyway. Being Bobby Brown will premiere on Bravo some time next year. With Bobbys criminal history and his much-publicized marriage to Whitney Houston, the series may end up being a cross between Cops and the Newlyweds!
An SNL Reality Show?: There are rumors that NBC is creating a reality-competition with Saturday Night Live producer Lorne Michaels. The show would follow a group of comedians competing to become the newest member of the SNL cast. Michaels would choose and refuse contestants each week. I guess you can call it the survival of the funniest. The biggest reason to watch: Maybe well witness the making of a new Mike Myers or Jimmy Fallon.
"The Hilton Project": Kathy Hilton is following her daughter Paris footsteps. Hilton will star in her own reality show next year. But instead of learning how to live the simple life, Hilton will introduce some deserving men and women to the high life. The millionaire and a group of cultural experts give candidates a crash course on culture, style, and business.
"Supernanny": Move over, "Nanny 911." ABC has hired its own Nanny. "Supernanny," which is based on a popular British series, stars Jo Frost as a modern day "Mary Poppins." Frost is placed with families who are in desperate need of some help and, according to ABC, their problems range from behavior to sloppiness. We've already learned from shows like "Wife Swap" and "Nanny 911" that bratty kids are entertaining to watch. Watch "Supernanny" Jan. 17th at 10 p.m (ET) on ABC.
"Average Jane": Weve already seen three editions of NBCs Average Joe, a reality show in which average looking guys compete with super hot hunks to win the affections of a beautiful woman. The sought-after bachelorette must choose between looks and personality. With Average Jane, we will get to see what happens when the tables are turned. The show will feature less-than-perfect women competing to win a handsome bachelor.
