This question is from my site's Make Me A Supermodel recap writer Angela Williams. Do you get a chance to talk to the contestants who are voted off before they leave?

Yeah. I do talk to them. And the ones that I like I give 'em my number and we stay in touch. And I help them to get out into the work world to work as models. If it’s the kids that I believe they can do it, I speak to them before they leave. We exchange numbers. I talk to Jay and I got Jacki's numbers. I don't force it on them. I reach out to them and say, 'Hey, do you wanna exchange numbers?' Some of them say yes and some of them say no. I'm just trying help them.

How far in advance do you know who is voted off?

I know probably a week in advance. I know a week before you guys know.

Is it hard to send these people home sometimes?

It's hard to send them home when you know…especially when it's somebody that you didn't vote to go home. It's hard because you're like this person has more potential than somebody else sitting in the house and the other person gets to stay. Because I'm only one vote against the network or my other panelists' votes. It's a bunch of votes that I have to go up against. And sometimes I have to try to convince some dude from a network why this kid should stay. Some guy from some network who has never been a model, who has no idea about the business, but he knows television like the back of his hand. But if you ask him about fashion, he wouldn't know who the hell Valentino was…So, it's hard. It's hard to convince some pencil-pushing exec what's up.

Did you get any tips from [Top Model] star Tyra Banks? Did you talk to her about this show at all?

No. What I need tips from her for?

I saw you on Top Model doing a little guest appearance thing.

Everyone is always comparing our shows, but she owns hers and she can basically say what she wants and do what she wants. Eventually, if I ever decide I want to stay in this business and do a show, I would have to run it like the way she's doing it. At the end of the day, she has the last say, so whereas me, I work for these people. She owns hers. And I'm proud of her, you know. Her formula for her show is different from ours. There's no comparison. She has hers going on. Not to say that ours isn't going on too. But it's just two different formulas.

Well, thank you for talking to me. And I do hope that you'll get to do a show your way and come back to reality TV…

No, no, no. I'm not trippin! I am not trippin', trust me.

I'm just saying, we'd like to see more of you on reality TV!

I know some network will call me and say, 'Hey, Tyson, we're going to give you your own thing to do.' When that day happens, then [inaudible]…Keep watching [Make Me A Supermodel] though. Keep supporting the kids.
