Interview With Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry of VH1's My Fair Brady

Continued.

By , About.com Guide

My Fair Brady chronicles the relationship of these newlyweds, who met while filming The Surreal Life. The Surreal Life is a VH1 reality show on which a group of C-List celebs live together for two weeks. Adrianne, who is famous for being the first winner of America’s Next Top Model, fell hard for Chris, who is best known as Peter Brady from the sixties sitcom The Brady Bunch. They moved in together, got engaged (after Adrianne gave Chris an ultimatum, that is), and they tied the knot in May, 2006.

They have only been together for a year an a half, but making it to this point in their relationship was not easy. Not only is there a 25 year age difference between the two, they also seem to be complete opposites. As Chris puts it, “she’s all unfettered and I’m all bound up."

When I ask Adrianne to tell me how they make it work, she replies “I can’t because I don’t know. It just does. I think love is more important than anything. People can get along and have all of these common interests, but if you don’t have an unconditional love there then maybe it will fall apart eventually. I mean, look at the divorce rate in this country. People think they’re compatible and that they can get along and they get married and they’re like 'hey, we don’t really love each other like we thought.'” More.
