Oxygen, home of the reality show The Bad Girls Club is launching a new franchise, Girlfriend Confidential, with two editions--one set in New York and the other in Los Angeles.
Girlfriend Confidential: NY follows a group of high-powered and well-connected female friends in New York City: Leigh Cherrier (Public Relations Director for Louis Licari), Marianne Garvey (News Editor, InTouch Magazine), Leila Shams (a fashion designer), Kelly Brady (a celebrity publicist) and Raina Seitel (correspondent for NBC’s New York Live).
Meanwhile, Girlfriend Confidential: LA follows four best friends navigating Hollywood, celebrity life and the entertainment industry. The LA gang revolves around model/actor Eva Marcille (formerly Eva Pigford) of America’s Next Top Model and The Young and the Restless and her group of friends including actress Denyce Lawton of Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, Nikki Chu, a dynamic interior and product designer and Kelly Marie Dunn, a talent manager who has worked with A-list musicians and pop stars.
The two Girlfriend Confidential shows launch summer 2012 on Oxygen.
