Matt Damon is one of Hollywoods most sought-after talents. Audiences most recently saw Damon reprise his role as Jason Bourne in the boxoffice hit "The Bourne Supremacy," the second installment in the series from Universal Pictures, following "The Bourne Identity."
Most recently, the talented and versatile actor completed shooting the geopolitical thriller Syriana for director Stephan Gaghan. The film, which will be produced by Section Eight Films for Warner Bros., will be released next year.
In December 2004, Damon re-teamed with George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle and Julia Roberts for director Steven Soderbergh in"Oceans Twelve," the follow-up to the highly successful "Oceans Eleven,"and later this year he will star with Heath Ledger in "The Brothers Grimm" for director Terry Gilliam and Dimension Films.
Last year Damon opposite Greg Kinnear in the Farrelly Bros. comedy "Stuck On You" and before that in "Gerry" with Casey Affleck, for director Gus Van Sant.
In 2000, audiences saw Damon star in "The Legend of Bagger Vance," for director Robert Redford and in the film version of the Cormick McCarthy book "All the Pretty Horses" for director Billy Bob Thornton.
In 1999, Damon starred in Anthony Minghellas "The Talented Mr. Ripley" for which he received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor. That same year he rejoined "Chasing Amy" director Kevin Smith and pal Ben Affleck in "Dogma," a film about a pair of outcast angels.
