Celebrity Cooking Showdown
The weeklong series premieres Monday, April 17, 9-10 p.m. ET, on NBC. It also airs April 18-21, 8-9 p.m. ET.
Paired with professional chefs, nine celebrities learn how to cook world-class meals. After attending "culinary boot camp," the celebs must race against the clock to prepare their meals in front of a live studio audience. Three stars compete each night, and one winner is chosen by a panel of judges. On the fourth night, the three winners compete in a final cook-off. Viewers at home vote for their favorite celebrity and the winner is crowned on the fifth night.
Night 1: Football star Tony Gonzalez (Kansas City Chiefs), Alison Sweeney (Days of our Lives) and internet star Cindy Margolis.
Night 2: Music superstar Patti LaBelle, singer and reality star Ashley Parker Angel (MTVs There and Back), and supermodel Gabrielle Reece.
Night 3: Comedian Tom Arnold, Miss USA Chelsea Cooley and country star Big Kenny (Big and Rich).
Growing Pains Dad Alan Thicke
Supermodel Naomi Campbell dropped out of the competition after she was arrested for allegedly injuring her housekeeper by throwing a cellphone at the woman. Some reports claim that Naomi really dropped out of the show because she is feuding with the show's producer, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs.
