Horrible living conditions didn't stop Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich from falling in love while competing on "Survivor: All Stars."

Rob says he knew he had true feelings for Amber when she had to move to a different tribe during the game.

He told CBS News: "I found myself missing her. And asking the producers, 'Is she OK?' I realized that I had feelings for her, I think, when she was gone. I missed her. And that's how I knew.”

Amber won the $1 million prize on "Survivor: All Stars" and runner-up Rob proposed during the show's live season finale.

After the proposal, it seemed CBS couldn't get enough of the couple. Rob and Amber were also chosen to compete on "The Amazing Race 7." Though they didn't win the race, Rob and Amber came out on top when CBS offered to pay for their April, 2005 wedding. The event was filmed for a CBS special.
