Top 10 Reality Shows That Will Heat Up Summer 2006

By Latoya West, About.com

Summer is the best time of year to enjoy the outdoors. But when the sun goes down, it's time to go back inside, crank up the air conditioner, and watch some great Reality TV. So, which shows will help heat up summer this year? Here are the top 10.

1. Big Brother

Some of our favorite players from past seasons will return for the first-ever, all-star version of Big Brother on CBS. America will choose who will participate in the game from a pool of 20 former houseguests. As always, the players will live together while cameras record their every move. They will plot, backstab, and vote each other out of the game until only one player remains. The winner gets $500,000. The premiere date has not been announced yet.

This summer, singers will compete to become the lead singer of the new band Supernova, which is made up of former Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, Metallica star Jason Newsted, and Gilby Clarke of Guns N' Roses. According to CBS, this season will feature appearances by different music legends each week. Dave Navarro and Brooke Burke will return as hosts.
