Premise:
15 performers compete to become the lead singer of Supernova, a superband formed by Metallica bassist Jason Newsted, Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke, and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee.

The contestants perform each week for America and the judges. The judges are band members Jason Newsted, Gilby Clark, and Tommy Lee. One performer is eliminated each week by the judges.
