'So You Think You Can Dance' In A Nutshell:
So You Think You Can Dance is the search for America’s favorite dancer. Dancers who specialize in genres from hip-hop to ballroom compete to win a prize package.
How 'So You Think You Can Dance' Works:
Each season, auditions are held in different cities across the country. The best dancers are asked by the judges to participate in the grueling call-back round, which takes place in Las Vegas. The top twenty dancers from the Las Vegas stage of the competition become the new SYTYCD cast.
Each dancer is then paired with a contestant of the opposite sex to perform as a team each week. The judges weigh in on the performances and viewers vote for their favorite dancers after each performance episode. The following night, the lowest vote getter is eliminated during a live results show.
