Survivors ready?
After last weeks recap show, I for one was ready for a new episode of outplaying and outlasting. The survivors were back and ready for a challenge that would bring some yummy to the tummy.
And the reward is
For this reward challenge, the survivors were given a little book with rewards to choose from. They were allowed to select two. Their interests were not really piqued by things like spices. Everybody had their eye on the peanut butter with some other carbs. The tribes argued over the merits of bread vs. potatoes.
The key to winning the challenge
Keys were suspended high above a platform. Survivors had to swim to the platform, climb up, break a suspended encasement with a club, and watch a key fall into the water. They were then to dive under the water, retrieve the key, and swim to shore with it. After all the keys were retrieved, they had to assemble a puzzle. The first tribe to assemble all the puzzle pieces would win the delicious reward.
A losing strategy
Brad insisted on not taking part in the physical, swimming part of the challenge, insisting that his team always froze up at the end, losing in the mental part. It proved to be a bad strategy move when Rebecca, sapped of energy, totally lost it for the team as she could barely handle the swimming segment of the challenge. Raro kept up their losing streak when Aitu won the challenge.
Adam is off to Exile Island
Adam is sent to Exile Island. I am personally ready for him to exit the show permanently. This bad attitude pretty boy has not become one of my castaway favorites. Adam is agitated at his tribe losing all the time. I could not help but smirk at his comment, Its hard to soar like an Eagle when youre surrounded by Turkeys.
Tribe tensions
It seemed as if things were very tense at the camp. Survivors were starting to strategize about voting if they lost the next challenge. Among the most nervous of the tribe members was Jessica a.k.a. Flicka who gets my vote as most annoying castmate since Caibois departure.
Immunity at stake
It is time for the immunity challenge, and the survivors have to build a log staircase from long pieces of wood. They then ride across a zip line, drop down into the water, get puzzle pieces and swim to the shore to form a puzzle.
Strike up the band
Stop the presses, shout hooray! and strike up the band because Raro finally won a challenge. When they rejoiced over their immunity win, viewers could not help but smile and enjoy the underdogs few minutes of glory.
The vote
The votes were tallied and the decision was made. We said goodbye to Flicka in a vote that did not come as much of a shocker
