No tears over Jonathan’s departure

The mood at camp is a happy one because of Jonathan’s departure. Nobody is sorry to have seen him go.

A plan is hatched

Pavarti and Adam devise a plan to crack the close foursome (former Aitu). They realize they have to do something. Their only real hope is for one of them to win a challenge.

It’s time to get dirty

The reward challenge was a messy one! The Survivors had to dive into a mud pit, cover themselves in mud, and run over to a bucket. They were to scrape as much mud as possible off of themselves and into the bucket. The top three finishers would win reward… a luxury spa treatment complete with a bed to sleep in, a bath, massage, and a dinner complimented by beer, wine, and champagne. The first place finisher also got to choose who to send to Exile Island.

Very different strategies

Yul used the trough of his back to carry mud. Parvati used her chest. Ozzy used his hair. Jeff commented that it was like watching bad performance art.

Weigh-in

Ozzy won the challenge with a whopping 45 pounds of mud. Parvati came in second with 24 pounds. Yul barely took third place with 22 and a half pounds to Adams 22 pounds.

Adios, Adam

Nobody is surprised when Adam is banished to Exile Island.

Back at camp

As the winners leave for the reward challenge, one of the girls comments, “At least Yul got to go.” They don’t seem all that happy for Ozzy..

Becky grows a backbone

After weeks of being spineless, Becky finally grows a backbone and blurts, “Ozzy plays to win. You can’t beat him. He hates to lose. He might win every immunity and reward. He’s a bigger threat than people realize.”

A relaxing reward

The winning reward trio had a great time being pampered. “I will remember that shower for the rest of my life, “Says Ozzy. After getting massages, Ozzy and Parvarti bond over a meal. The power goes off, and they have to all light candles. The surprising twist came when Yul, Ozzy, and Parvati all ended up naked in the hot tub. “I’ve got two naked guys in the hot tub!” Parvarti declared as she begin flirting heavily with Ozzy. Not surprising. We always knew her sex appeal was her real weapon in the game.

On Exile Island

“The third time’s a charm,” remarks Adam about the fact that he has been banished a third time. “Except the charm’s not here. Yul’s got it.” He ate raw shellfish and muttered, “Who needs fire when I can eat everything raw?” Geez, I’m not a fan of Adam, but I actually felt bad for the guy. It was storming and freezing, and he looked utterly miserable.

An alliance shaken

When they return to camp, Becky approaches Yul about wanting to change things up and maybe voting Ozzy out sooner rather than later. Way to go Becky for finally expressing any type of opinion! Yul admits he doesn’t want to go to the final two against Ozzy. He knows that Ozzy may have more favor with the jury for playing a “straight-up” game.

Which one will it be?

If Pavarti or Adam goes, we’re not really sure who it will be since Yul seems to be telling both of them different things.

Immunity – back up for grabs

The Survivors had to carry four bundles of puzzle pieces across a thin balance beam to a mat before creating a table maze. They then would use that table maze to move 1 cannonball to each of two corner pockets. The immunity win would guarantee them a 1 in 5 shot at 1 million bucks.

And the winner again…

The indispensable Ozzy won again. Yul continued to toy with Parvati and Adam like he was the puppet master. Yul decides to bring back Jonathan’s hat to tribal counsel. We can’t help but wonder if it is a ploy for votes.

The other survivors speak out…

“Yul has been playing this game to win votes from the beginning.”

The tribe has spoken

Although Sundra brought in a couple of votes, Parvarti was voted off. Wow. Adam’s days are certainly numbered.

Tune in Sunday

The finale will air followed by a live reunion show.

Parting words from Parvati

“I could have worked it more in the hot tub.” (Enough said)
