Awww….

I wished I could reach out and hug Ozzy when he was questioned about his biggest life challenge, and he admitted that it was the fact that he didn’t have much of a relationship with his father. He said that his father had never been there for him, and that Ozzy had made all the efforts. He got teary eyed as he explained that it was hard to know that the person who created you doesn’t want to be around.

A learning experience

When asked what they learned from the experience at Cook Islands, Becky talked about being able to relax rather than follow a schedule. Ozzy said that he learned about pure love. Yul said that he found a new confidence in himself.

Words of love from Jonathan

“You played hard, you played well, you played me.” Jonathan told Yul he should run for office, and he asked Ozzy how a million bucks would make him a better person and make the world a better place. Ozzy talked about going back to college and then trying to change the world. The answer was a bit vague.

Back in LA

The Survivors were all smiles and looking a bit different as they waited for the results. Ozzy had plumpened up a bit. Becky was freshly made up with a smile a little to wide for someone who should have known she would be lucky to score a single vote and Yul was looking handsome and well-groomed. In the end, the votes were close. Becky received no votes, and the other votes were four to five.

And the winner of Survivor Cook Islands

was Ozzy…. No wait. That was wishful thinking on my part. Actually, Yul won, and although I preferred Ozzy, I send Yul congratulations for a game well played.
