THE CHALLENGE
Jason returns from Exile Island. Natalie whispers to him “Let anyone but James win. Don’t ask questions.” She tells him she sent him to Exile Island for a reason. He believes her. Of course he does. The name of this game isn’t SURVIVOR. It’s TRUST.For the challenge, they have to throw rocks at tiles to drop puzzle pieces, dig for a key, assemble a wheel, release planks and cross over water to a platform to be first to touch a pole. It comes down to James and Erik, with Erik winning when James falls in the water and has to start again. The women are ecstatic because Erik won. That puts phase one of Natalie’s plan in motion: for Jason to have the idol and Erik to have immunity. That way, if Jason doesn’t play the idol; he’s out. If he does, James is out. She does a little “evil woman” dance back at camp. Now, all she has to do is convince Jason not to play the idol since they are all “voting for James.” Jason totally believes her. When Jason goes looking for crabs and saltwater, Natalie and Amanda go through his bag and confirm that he has the idol. Natalie is in definite game mode now. She interviews that she is ruthless, cutthroat, and above all smiling. And proud of it.
