CBS has revealed details about Survivor: Panama -- Exile Island. Here's what you need to know:

Premiere Date

Thursday, Feb. 2 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT).

Tribes

On the first episode, the castaways are divided into four tribes of four -- Older Men, Older Women, Younger Men, and Younger Women. On the second episode, the four tribes become two after a school yard-style selection process.

Season Twists

Each week, one castaway will be banished to Exile Island, a separate island miles away from camp. They must fend for themselves while separated from their tribe.

The banished castaways will learn that an Immunity Idol is hidden on Exile Island. If they are lucky enough to find it, the Immunity Idol could save them from elimination at a future tribal council.

Castaways

The sixteen castaways range in age from 24 to 58. The group includes a singer, a retired astronaut, and a Karate instructor. Learn more about the castaways here.
