Second Time Around
The 11 teams of returning racers, a.k.a. the 'all stars,' meet up in Miami, FL to begin the 'race of a lifetime.' Again.

'People Are Making Moves!'
The jockeying for position began almost immediately with teams trying to pass each other en route to the Miami airport as they race to catch a flight to Quito, Ecuador.
Leaves Last but Gets There First
The teams were given two flights to choose from - one from American Airlines and the other from Copa. While the American Airlines flight leaves later, it would arrive almost 2 hours ahead of the Copa flight. Teams figured this out but the American Airlines flight quickly sold out.
Rapido! Rapido!
Teams yelled that a lot at their cab drivers in Quito. Thankfully, the second part of the race required them to drive themselves. We're pretty sure the cab drivers got sick of hearing that as much as we did.
'Romber's' (Rob/Amber) Biggest Fans. . .
. . .are Rob and Amber. Amber explained that there aren't any teams they really wanted to race against, but if you asked any other teams, they would say 'Romber'. That's mighty arrogant, considering they didn't even win their season of The Amazing Race.
Haircut and Manicure
The opening leg of the race only contained a Detour, which had teams choose to either wrangle a wild horse to trim its tail and hooves or to find missing pieces of a uniform in a field. Romber started out doing the uniform task but quickly switched to the horse wrangling task, which Ozwald/Danilo, best friends who are now 'married,' deemed as a hair cut and manicure. The task didn't seem particularly hard, and all the teams chose it, and completed it with no problems.
'It's On. . .'
Romber finished first this leg of the race, telling Phil at the pit stop that as soon as he had said 'Go!' it was 'on.' They won a trip for 2 to the Four Seasons Resort in Whistler, Canada for their first place finish.
North and South
Cotopaxi National Park, where the Detour and Pit Stop were, apparently had a north and south entrance. Teams were supposed to enter the north entrance, but several teams, erroneously entered via the south entrance, which added about an hour to their drive, since they had to drive all the way around the park to get to the Detour.
Where Are We?
In an inadvertently funny moment, Drew remarked that 'Peru is nice' while he and Kevin were making their way to Cotopaxi Park. That prompted Kevin to respond, 'I'm sure Peru is nice but we're in Ecuador.'
Someone Had To Be First. .
.
. . .team eliminated. Even in an All-Stars competition, and that team was John Vito/Jill, who used to date but are now ' undefined' friends. . .and more. Getting lost proved to be a misstep that they couldn't quite recover from.
