Oh, By the Way. . .
The teams do have names, although we never got to see how they came up with those names. Heidi's team is called Kinetic, and the team formerly managed by Frank is called Arrow.
Worst Nickname So Far
Team Arrow greeted Frank's return with surprising enthusiasm, given that the majority of them had recommended his firing when polled by Trump in the last Boardroom. Frank then revealed that his nickname is 'Frankie Suits.' Yeah, we don't get it (or like it) either.
Better Nickname
We did chuckle when Carey, the marketing firm owner from Atlanta, GA, called the backyard camp, 'Trump Trailer Park.'
New Leader, New Task
Nicole, the broker from Chicago, IL is selected as Team Arrow's new PM. The teams are tasked to design swimsuits for celebrated swimsuit designer, Trina Turk's line.
Debate over Designs
There is some disagreement on both teams about designs. Heidi clashed with Marisa, the Wellington, FL attorney, over Marisa's design. Heidi deemed them too conservative. And on Team Arrow, Carey designed a line of men's bathing suits that he admits are tailored toward the gay male consumer base. Some team members found the suits to be too risky, particularly the men's 'bikini' (which looked like short shorts) in a pink pattern.
Once More. . .
. . . .with more rewards! Team Kinetic won for the second time in a row, and this time, all the team members are granted exemptions from next week's task (the show is unclear about whether it means Team Kinetic won't have to compete at all, or that they will have to compete, but if they lose, they won't be fired). Team Kinetic is also rewarded with a trip to the Playboy mansion to meet Hugh Hefner.
The Losing Factor
Trina Turk revealed that Team Arrow lost because they only sold $360 worth of men's bathing suits.
Reality TV Crossovers!
In addition to the Project Runway-esque task of designing clothes, this week also saw a cameo appearance by the 'stars' of 'The Girls Next Door' as Team Kinetic got to meet 'Hef' and his girlfriends - Holly, Bridget and Kendra.
Dissension in the Ranks
Not everyone was celebrating on Team Kinetic as cracks in the team began to appear, when Marisa voiced her displeasure over Heidi's continuing as PM. She thought others on the team are equally capable and should have their chance to shine.
Scary Visual
Courtesy of 'The Donald' who, in the Boardroom, told Carey that he (Trump) has a 'great body, a really, really great body' and that he could have worn the pink patterned men's 'bikini' that Carey had designed. Our minds went to a very scary visual place, and if we sent you there as well, we apologize.
Early Favorite
There's still too many wannabes for us to call a 'favorite' but James, the Seattle, WA Internet entrepreneur, gets a few brownie points from us for his brief, but on point, summation in the Boardroom. When polled by Trump about who should be fired, he is the only one who does not go with the group consensus (Carey) but instead, picks Nicole, pointing out that if there were any mistakes, as PM, it was her job to catch them before they were made. A rational, clear-headed, concise wannabe - we think we might like him.
A Done Deal
The show tried to make it suspenseful, but honestly, when everyone was piling on Carey about how awful his designs of the men's bathing suits were, it was pretty much a done deal that he was going to be fired. Sure, Trump made Michelle, the LA real estate consultant (who was brought in because many team members simply didn't like her) and Nicole squirm but it was no surprise that Carey got the 'you're fired!'
