Jake grew up in Denton, Texas with his happily married parents and his brothers Jason and Matt. After discovering his passion for flying as a young child, Jake took his first flying lessons at only twelve years old.

Jake, who attended the University of North Texas and Embry Engineering University for Aerospace Science, is an airline pilot. He also became an airline captain flight instructor when he was 23 years old.
