Who Is On It: Rapper Missy Elliot is the Donald Trump of this show. Her advisors are old-school singer Teena Marie, music producer Dallas Austin, and record exec Mona Scott.
What It's About: Thirteen aspiring performers (including rappers, singers, and dancers) hit the road with Missy. They are forced to live on a run-down tour bus while Missy and her entourage live in high style on their luxury bus. Along the way, they face each other in competitions that test their creativity, passion, and overall talent. Between stops, they must all try to get along while living in such close quarters.
The Contestants: The diverse contestants include a teacher, a theme park performer, and a construction worker.
What They Are Competing For: $100,000 prize and a record deal with Missy's own label.
Why You Should Watch: The young contestants are hungry for success. You can't help but root for this group.
Why You Shouldn't Watch: If you're not a fan of hip-hop culture, you may not understand what the judges are looking for.
